How to Celebrate a Kid's First Birthday

This message strikes you only when he turns 11 months young. As you would have been enthralled by your kid's development and activities over the months from the day he is born, leaving you no time to think about it, till this time. This may not be true for all parent's, but I assume it will be so in our Indian nuclear families.

And as the D'day approaches, you run out of ideas and go for what Rahul's or Rohit's father did. (if you have attended those birthday's) or go by what the nearby party hall provides!.

And the sequence is, Invite all friends, ensure that you don't leave out the ones with Kid's, arrange a cake cutting party, a magic show, some ballons and gifts for the kid's coming to the party. :) The usual stuff.

The miss out. Those friends who are batchelors and are not parent's yet. Either they skip or donno what to do. Hey ! But's whats important on your Kid's D day??

  1. A Dinner
  2. The Kid's gettogether
  3. An expensive dinner at TAJ. Cover that with professional video, so that your son / daughter can see it when he is old?
  4. All the gifts he collected?
  5. Keeping the guest interested and happy?
  6. Just a gathering?
Your Thoughts?
